ABOUT

Liz completed her Registered Nurse training in the United Kingdom (UK), and has extensive experience in the UK both in community and aged care.

Liz has completed her Degree of Master of Health Administration in Flinders University SA in 2019, and a Graduate Certificate in Nursing Science (GCertNSc) Infection control 2021.

Since emigrating to Australia Liz has worked both in rural and remote community settings and has held management roles within the aged care industry.

Liz has a comprehensive understanding of audit methodology, techniques and evaluation of evidence and has the ability to apply risk management and adult learning principles in accordance with the Standards.

Liz was a key lead in the Dementia Behaviour Management Advisory Services and initiated clinical assessment and reviews of clients living with dementia, prioritising a case management based approach on identified risk using her own personal experience to support others.

Her role as a Senior Quality Surveyor with the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency has also heightened her identification of risk within the sector to support continuous improvements and innovation.

Liz has a passion to lead change within  services to support better care for all.
